Dr. Nicole Flanagan

Founder & Clinical Psychologist

Hi! I’m Dr Nicole Flanagan, a native English speaking clinical psychologist with lived experience and expertise working with the ex-pat community. I have lived in Australia, America, England, Canada and France before settling in Copenhagen with my young family.

I have a professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (D. Psych Clin) from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia. I have worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, specialist community clinics, academia, and for the past several years, in private practice.

I am trained in child, adult and couples psychotherapy and am dedicated to providing high quality, evidence-based psychological services to adolescents and adults from a range of different cultural backgrounds.

Kellie Porter

Parent Coaching & Play Therapist

I’m a therapeutic play specialist and parent coach with more than 20 years of experience supporting children and families.

Originally from the United States, I moved to Copenhagen with my family in 2018, giving me firsthand insight into the joys and challenges that come with international relocation.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in education, and I’ve worked with children and families across a variety of educational settings and private practice environments.

Parenting is one of the most important jobs and it doesn’t come with instructions. My work focuses on helping families navigate the complexities of building a connected, fulfilling life together abroad.
